Cheryl Soper*

Cheryl Soper has worked in the benefits profession for 14 years and enjoys being an advocate for employees while balancing the ‘business’ side of the job.  As Director of Benefits for CKE Restaurants, Inc. she is responsible for the companies Health & Welfare plans.  Cheryl is continually looking for ways to improve efficiencies, contain costs, and provide meaningful benefits to the companies 23,000 employees.  Most recently Cheryl led a project to centralize, streamline and automate CKE’s leave of absence management program.  This year she is taking on automation of employee benefit communications and implementation of a Wellness Program.  Continually striving to further her education Cheryl is currently taking classes towards attaining her CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation.
